I neglected to mention that I was staying in a suburb of Sydney called Cabarita, a quiet street, seemingly a million miles from the bustle of the city centre, but only about 40 minutes by river cat.
A glorious day, not a cloud in the sky, and the morning ferry ride to Circular Quay was wonderful. I cannot think of a more enjoyable way to commute, completely stress free. I honestly think I would enjoy going to work!
I wandered around the Quay, the QE2 was in dock, and an impressive sight it is amongst the surroundings. I took a stroll around the Opera House, and into the Botanical Gardens for a few moments of contemplation. i was feeling content, relaxed, at last, after Hong Kong, I was glad I came!
I grabbed a bite to eat back at Circular Quay, and went to look for my ferry. Disaster! well not quite, but the 2.50pm. ferry had turned into the 4.35pm.
With a couple of hours to kill, I went to get some photos developed and waited patiently, indulging in a spot of people watching.
The 4.35pm. ferry arrived on time, and I made my way back to Cabarita
