day ninety: karijini national park

Looking forward to today, a walk through Dales Gorge. But first, a look at Joffre Falls.

The walk was as it always is, excellent. Jeremy led us expertly through the track, to Fortescue Falls, and from there I took the group to Fern Pool for a swim. The first time I have known the water to be so warm there.

Morning was had in the car park, then we left Karijini, taking a stunning route to Port Headland. We had lunch at a roadhouse along the way. Judith, had asked for a look at Port Headland. God knows why, but we took a slight detour which turned out to be a total waste of time, before carrying on to our bush camp at the De Grey River.

Nicki and Monika cooked a Swiss meal, delicious and we sat around the campfire, telling jokes.
