#10 - West Highland Way Day 7

The last day of our 95 mile trek. We were up and on the trail by about 7am, climbing up into the mist on Lairigmor. Once off the moor, the trail passes through forestry, before descending into Glen Nevis, with views, on a good day, of Ben Nevis.

From here, the trail makes its way to the main road where the final couple of miles are followed into Fort William and the finish line!!!
I was particularly pleased we finished about 2pm; despite the elation of finishing the challenge, I had always had, in the back of my mind, the need to get back to Glasgow as soon as possible that day to see Powderfinger playing! For me, a great end to the week! As it turned out, we were back with plenty of time to spare!
