... isn't going to be kind to me this Easter. The heavens have opened and the moors are looking uncomfortably damp so wildcamping the perambulation isn't an option. A rethink has left me struggling to find accommodation on Dartmoor. Unbelievably, bunkhouses and some campsites are still full despite the weather so it's off to the parents in Halwill Junction, about 15 miles outside the national park.
Instead of the wildcamp, I'll do a few day walks in the rain and inevitable mist, pottering around on the north moor and hopefully won't get lost! Who knows, if I come across somewhere dry, the option to wildcamp might still be there.
